Hey! let's play a game shall we? and i feel like doin something a bit different! how about we do 2 truths and a lie!

rules are simple! you make a list of 3 statements, 2 truths and one lie. other people have to guess what is the lie! it will be fun and we get to know more about eachother <3

i'll start!

1.I went to the Bahamas when i was 2 years old

2. I was yelled at by William Shatner at Denver Comic Con

3. I bought a $2700 blazer jacket with monopoly money

 No.1060014

>>1060013
The third is a lie.

1.) I have suffered from third-degree burns

2.) I have never downloaded a song in my life

3.) I have met an acting US Senator at a restaurant

2. I have played over 100 hours in American Truck Simulator
3. I touch type at over 100 wpm

Number 1 is the lie.
What did you do to make Shatner yell at you?

>>1060014
I'm guessing 1.

>>1060021
Hey, I was right!

>>1060022
An hour goes quickly while driving.
You're good at typing too.
I'm guessing you're still working on number 1.
Who even has a 100 different shades of anything anyways?

Mine:
1. I have never seen the ocean.
2. I have seen the ocean.
3. I couldn't think of a third one.

You guys got it! I never been to the Bahamas. I have been to Puerto Rico when I was 2 apparently

As for the other 2, I'll give you the really short answer. But I was at a panel with William Shatner, and I yelled "I LOVE YOU WILLIAM SHATNER!" And he looked at me funny, but then moved on.

Then later, he was forgetting a word when talking about a story, and said he felt a little embarrassed to forget that in front of a thousand people. I yelled "ITS OKAY! WE STILL LOVE YOU" and he replies

"Yeah, you're the guy who said he loved me earlier! Listen, pal, I'm not available. Maybe try asking out someone else here at the con!"

Best day of my life

And for the blazer. I work at goodwill, and all month, we've been allowed to dress up and we received "boo bucks" which is basically monopoly money you can use in the store.  Welk the other day, we did MiB day, and I needed to get a blazer. So I picked up one, tried it on, and it fit perfectly, so I bought it with the boo bucks I saved.

It was then I saw the tag "Christian Dior" and was stunned

That is top of the line, high end stuff!

https://www.dior.com/en_us/products/couture-013C211A3500_C900-jacket-with-saddle-pocket-black-wool-and-mohair

So I ended up paying for a $2700 jacket at goodwill for monopoly money

>>1060022
I'll guess 1, because while I know you have a lot of lip color, I can't say it's over 100

>>1060023
Number 3!

Muah ha ha, you both have fallen for my trap. We aren't talking about a mere 100, but over 120 by my count!

You underestimate the power of color palattes. Just that thing alone has a sample of 66 shades. Makeup is expensive yo! I wanted to have something where I could try out colors to see what I feel fits me. To find my look.

Then the pencils up there are lip liners. Those too came in a bulk deal. They aren't super high quality but they are effective, easy, and came in a lot of options.

Then the tiny few tubes on the right are some hand selected quality lipsticks and lip lacquers in colors I like. Those few tubes easily cost as much as either the palatte or the set of liners!

So, am I lying about being a professional typist or an amateur truck driver?

1) I once emailed a suggestion to the ceo of a small developer for the N64 trying to convince them to develop RPGs for the system. They did so a few years later and went out of business.

2) I once snuck a small audio recording device while attempting to infiltrate the San Antonio church of scientology hoping to get some dirt and post it online.

oh oh oh

1. i had to help a friend of mine one time after he got a bunch of boy scouts upset and they duct taped him to a wooden bed and floated him out into the lake, but he is a deep sleeper, so he didn't wake up until he was like half way into the lake and we had to get a boat to bring him back

2. i was once in a mountain cave, in the Taroko Gorge of Taiwan, when it suddenly began to rain very hard, and the ceiling burst open and a waterfall fell in. my little sister was nearly swept away, so i jumped in to help her to the ledge before we continued through the cave to the other side

3. i was once in Japan, and was enjoying my day the park, when a deer charged a lady nearby and ate her plastic bag, spilling everything all over the floor, before it turned around and chased my sister for a minute and a half. i later gave it a pet, and a cookie, and took a picture with my new deer friend.

Nope! I was trying to fix an AC on the ceiling at my old job. I just couldn't make these crooked pegs fit into the power on it. So I was trying to adjust something inside the socket with the screwdriver. No prob. But I twisted it and part of the screwdriver touched the metal exterior and that was a huge spark! I jumped back, fell down. The screwdriver was less lucky based on the black scorched and melted part in the side!

3. I still have a writing pad from childhood with a dinosaur pattern on the back that I named dinopad

The lie is the blade. I did exactly that, but I did not avoid severe injury, I put the thing all the way through the side of my finger! There was much blood, very cool actually. I have a picture of it somewhere that I will spare you all from, haha.

Fug. The knife, then!

And nope, yer wrong. I used to have an evening shift as a telemarketer (ugh) in Copenhagen, and had to walk across the main city square where I saw a girl randomly walking up to people and rambling. I thought she begging or high or something, so I was about to ignore her too. It was kind of like a movie moment, I walked right past her, fully intent on just ignoring her and getting home... and then I heard her start crying, had that brief moment of thinking "I'm gonn regret this" to myself and turned around.

Turns out she was a tourist and her and her group had gotten VERY drunk and she'd gotten seperated from them and had no idea where her hotel was. I was headed to the central station anyway and decided I'd take her there and at least hand her over to security there since they'd probably be able to help her more than I could, so I basically let her hold on to my sleeve and slowly walked her there. Turned out her hotel was the one right next to the station, thank God.

But yeah, that one was a truth.

I'm going to say that number one is a lie for the specific reason that, as a former Chicagoan who knows a lot about horrible rain, I think that umbrellas wear out relatively fast. Thus, you'd not keep one from childhood... it'd be too ragged and torn up.

You are correct that it is a lie! You are correct that it is beaten up and torn up. But you are wrong that I don't have it still! It's a lie because I never named it quackers :3

Also pictured, John and dinopad.

Why do I have the umbrella still? It actually has very little sentimental value. I was just poor and cheap and never let it go. I'm finally in my thirties got decent money, and I've replaced the umbrella. But it's so old, it just feels weird to toss a childhood memory now.

Number 2 is truth! I mean, I only have two parasols, but that's still multiple haha. One is purple and frilly and the other is red on the outside and looks like fruit with seeds on it on the inside ^_^

1 is the lie. I actually use any pronouns. As in, my preference is that people mix them up and use them how they feel about me in the moment. I had this coworker who did that randomly with me, this was before I was even out as trans non binary! But I loved that she just called me as she felt about me. So yeah, I prefer any pronouns. Though I usually don't bother telling people, they're just gonna 'choose' male pronouns anyway if I make that an equally valid choice and that doesn't really upset me. It's just not euphoric either.

I think what matters to me more than pronouns is how people feel about me. Which, I can't really make anyone feel different about me via pronoun enforcement anyway. If this society was a bit more open minded about gender, I'd probably  enjoy going by something like fae/faer. But I get no joy in trying to be an enforcer for neopronouns. I feel things are at a stage where maybe I can get away with at least not be discriminated terribly for who I am, but I don't think there's much more to get than that.

I kinda don't know what to call myself. That's why I post anonymously. I was going by thorax for a while, which was just a best option out of no great options. I go by my real name on discord, out of a lack of inspiration. Maybe I should just go with no pronouns, don't refer to me. Haha.

Now, to the game! Let's look at these individually, in depth, shall we? Yep!

1. I think that the Nostalgia Critic has been gradually reducing his public appearances. Plus, I don't know if he's alright with autographing things. Seems like a fishy story.

2. At the risk of coming across as a bit cringe in typing this, well, I guess that I'll have to think that this is plausible since from the one image that I've seen at you... you look immensely cute. And you're into doodling fan-arts in general while having many friends who're also artists. This makes sense.

3. Your Sifu seems, from what I've heard, like an awesome individual that would totally do this. Plausible story? Yeah.

So... I say "one"!

And it sounds like you guess 1 then, which is in fact the lie! I have, more times than I can count, gone back into a store to correct an error that was in my favor. I once walked back in and asked a cashier to charge me 50¢ for undercharging me one donut! They looked incredibly annoyed by this, haha. Just wasting their time no doubt.

But! That explosion was no accident! I created that explosion deliberately in the middle of a quad no less. It was a dry ice bomb, the chemistry teacher knew it was disallowed to let kids have dry ice for basically what I did. But they just handed it out unsupervised anyway, maybe the perks of being honors class. Creating a dry ice explosive out of it is as easy as dropping it in a water bottle and leaving it somewhere. I didn't want to hurt anyone, I just was dumb and wanted to see it blow up. Fortunately, nobody got near it and it didn't cause any harm. But there was plenty potential for it. Besides that, easily would have been expelled if I was caught.

So yeah, the lesson is kids are stupid and they don't have fully formed brains and they should be kept away from dangerous things! My teenaged self especially, haha

ok i´ll play along

1. One time the cops barged into our house because we where involved in a bank heist

2. One time our cat decided it was smart idea to sneak around the bushes to attack a wild moose that was in our garden

3. The cops stopped me while i was driving a Audi 100 because the rear of the car was scraping the asphalt

I'm guessing it's 1. The others seem a bit more likely, unless it's a case of mistaken identity.

I'll play along too.

I. I hiked 6 miles to a fire watch tower and was stalked by a mountain lion.

II. I operated a jet ski in the dark with no lights to be seen by others and near zero visibility of my surroundings.

III. I was rescued by the military from a mustard gas attack, and suffered injury to my eyes.

Maybe, though I'm running out of interesting things about myself, I'll do one final round in addition... a furry related round!

1. I currently am assembling a fox type fursuit, only having the head finished at the moment.
2. Although I've been involved in the fandom for years, I didn't start physically attending meet-ups until this past spring due to my shyness and social anxiety offline (but then I attended multiple this spring, pre-coronavirus).
3. My favorite manga is Beastars.

Mr. lp!

I know it may mean little coming from me but I like you and I think you have a bustling, energetic, and underappreciated mind. In fact I picture that your life must be some kind of continuous adventure, and often have the impression of you as a Zorro of the San Leandro legal circuit.

As for whether or not you are cute I can't say; but as far as that goes I'll quote one of my old roommates who replied to me, when I remarked on the thumb-headed appearance of one of the linebackers in his football fantasy game, "I don't care what he looks like as long as he can play ball."

And so, with deepest devotion to you, I will say that number one must be the lie.

I don't know much about furries.  My brother who passed away this year was a furry (fox coincidentally), but he was very private about his furry life. I do know the suits can be expensive, but it's anybody's guess for these three.

I'm going to go with 1 because it takes some decent craft skills to make an outfit.

well now it´s fall and soon winter. so now im mostly prepping the boats.
but to give you some answers ill say:

Spitfire ( a 13 foot yellow 1980´s selco with a outbard 50 horse mercury ). that needs some new plaster here and there. The engine runs good on land. but as soon you hit the waters and run full throttle it bogs and stalls.
So i suspect the garbs needs cleaning and a new gasket!

then we have the white runner ) A 13-14 foot boat build in Norway called Sunwin. that have a 40 horse Evinrude outboard. that runs great. but needs some new plaster in the bottom. after a faulty trailer scraped it.

then there´s the big selco ( unsure the size. ) but it has a inboard volvo b18. that has some internal damage and leaks ALL oil. so need to find a new engine for it.
once found a properly engine for it. it´s some internal wood work to make it look better.

>>1060217
Of course... AH! sadly i must say i don't own those OC´s. Delta wee ( the blue mare ) belongs to Shinodage
as well trash pony ( the brown one ) belongs to RedXBacon
i often tends to swap avatars posting depending the mood

>this is my own oc
But, uhm. thank you. and about the boats read the reply upwards ^^;

I was his kid brother, he had the coolest stuff when I was small. He got me into video arcade games and anime; the early years of my life were amazing. I always wanted to hang out with him.

And it was a Toyota 1MZ-FE engine like in a Lexus RX300. It's a big metal layer cake of grease, grime, hose, and wire.
It was somewhat difficult; I had to pull a bunch of stuff off to get the broken parts out.

Okay, I'll do one last round, but then I'm done. This one will be about interests in particular. Hope that nobody minds me going again, hah.

1. The last song that I listened to was "Overnight Sensation (Hit Record)" by power pop band the Raspberries, one of my favorite groups.
2. The last television program that I watched was I Can See Your Voice, a Fox (hah) series about singing that's one of my favorite things that's just gotten started .
3. The last chapter of a comic that I've read was a part of Ishuzoku Reviewers (Interspecies Reviewers), an infamous piece about humans getting lewd with non-humans.

Last thing that I've read online was a chapter of Elf-san wa Yaserarenai (Elves Can't Diet), something that also involves humans interacting with non-humans but is far more about romantic teasing than anything explicit. It's fantastic. Really recommended.

Might as well link the song that I mentioned? Why not? Here it is:
