I live in Oklahoma, where tornados can form and destroy whole towns in a matter of minutes. We have to be ready to act in a instant and know what to do.

Your thing is a hurricane. You know it's coming days in advance. Get the fuck out of there.

A few. One came by very close to my neighborhood last year, the winds only did minimal damage on their own, but they knocked down a few trees that did the bulk of the damage. Thankfully my house was only minimally damaged.

A while before that a local shopping center got hit. It touched down very quickly and did a ton of damage before dissipating. Luckily it was the middle of the night so very few people got hurt, but a ton of businesses got completely leveled. (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tulsa_tornadoes_of_2017)

The vintage video game store got caved in, and a company went in to salvage what they could to be refubished and sold. So my PS4 actually survived a tornado. True story.

I bought a solar panel for charging up phones and it works fairly well. You might wanna invest in one.

As for the hurricane, you've got time to prepare. If it were me, I'd get out of the area if it looks bad.

Is the one I bought. I actually found one with some cosmetic damage on ebay for cheaper.

If you get one, I would suggest picking up one or two of those cellphone battery banks and charging those up with the panel, then charging your phone up with the battery packs.
