What albums and/or tracks have you all been listening to lately?
Less metal than usual to be honest.
Still listening to this piece.
Here's another great song from the OP group and album:

I haven't really listened to any metal in a while now.
Hmmmmm... I gave it a shot, but honestly this is the kind of alternative metal that I really just can't get into, I suppose.
Does the band usually sound like that?

The band usually sounds kinda generic. They're not awful, but I don't think I'd really suggest people pursue them.
I love how colourful erra are.
More metalcore than metal but I'm glad you liked it.
I'll post something more classic.
What do you like about katana?
Feel like I shared these already at some point, but I've been enjoying Ozzy's new album, too.
I particularly enjoy music about historically focused events when there's battle and conflict, whether metal or whatever the genre. Fantastical stuff about fictional heroes and heroines also have tons of appeal to me. I like that 'epic' feel.
The newest album released last July and focuses on WWI

i love sabaton, and this makes me very happy <3
Oh, yeah, they're awesome!
Like I said before, that 'epic' sound is infectious!
Less metal than hardcore but I'll never have a thread to post it in otherwise.
I actually love the album cover art style. I'd like to find a tattoo artist that does this vivid cell shaded style.
post-hardcore is the umbrella most would put it under.
Or swancore I guess.
Pop metal / glam metal counts for this thread too, so here's a great one!
Everything sucks so I'm reviving this thread to post heavy music. Even if it's not quite metal.

Prancer has to be one of my favourite DEP tracks. Except for all of Calculating Infinityhttps://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3KZy9IJ3yrU
Architects are good for a good bad mood.
I think this is underoath's best track from their best album.
It's cheesy as hell. But I love the theme of pressing on.
I don't know if this is considered metal or not.
Fortunately half of what Spotify recommends me these days is Finnish power metal
Hey, hello again, how are my fellow music peeps doing?
