For newcomers to the site.
You know how we get those really long threads, (like 300-400 posts), and a lot of it is revolving around people feeling like enough moderater action hasn't been taken, or at least seen? Well I feel like we have had these types of threads enough times now for the current community to know what is going on, and going on in the background, but I think newcomers might end up having those same frustrations, and this might lead to more of those types of threads happening.
So my idea was, can we put one of those long threads in the arch, to serve as an example of problems and solutions that have already been discussed in the past?
This way instead of just telling a new member to the site, "that's already been said/done, and does/does not work", we can just link them to the thread and show them, along with the content in the thread that lead to it.
Cause I can see some people being suspicious, or not being able to just take someone's word on it without a little evidence.

that is very smart... we surely should do that.

Also for newcomers, I think it would be helpful to put a link (to the Political Drama policy) in the Rules section (both on the home page and in >>>/rules/2

Can you guys recover threads that have already auto saged/been pruned? Cause that might help instead of just waiting for a new one to pop up.
also I'm glad that might help. This community (you guys) have helped me so much, and I've been wanting to do something to give back, but I haven't been able to think of anything. I wanted to donate a bit towards the fees that keep the site up, but our budget is so freaking strict right now, I can't even do that.
I was thinking about maybe asking Dizzy if I could help with any of the communications between users...I don't consider myself an expert by any means, but I feel like I'm at least good at communicating for the most part.
I don't know, it was just an idea. Like I said, I've really been wanting to do something to help give back.
